An alert Amazon driver is being hailed a hero after calling 911 when she noticed smoke coming from a home in Florida. On August 31, Columbia County Fire Rescue (CCFR) said that three puppies were saved on August 30 because of the Amazon driver’s quick thinking. The agency writes:
During a structure fire yesterday, 3 puppies were saved and revived from smoke inhalation. Thank you to the Amazon driver who noticed the smoke and called 911.
The puppies were home alone when the fire broke out, and if the driver had not been at the right place, at the right time, the outcome would likely have been horrible.
The puppies’ owner commented on the Facebook post and she expressed her gratitude.
And the Amazon driver commented on the post as well, sending her well-wishes to the pups impacted by the smoke.
