In San Antonio, Texas, Daisy was “owner surrendered” after having been a family’s loyal partner for 14 years. The brown and black German shepherd, described as “very sweet”, needs to be rescued as soon as possible since the shelter is full and surrendered dogs – especially the seniors, are the first to be euthanized.
Daisy presented with an ulcerated mammary mass and will need to have that surgically removed and be placed on antibiotics. She just doesn’t have much time, but if everyone could share her plight with friends, family, social media contacts and approved rescue organizations immediately, it is hoped a happy senior pooch will be leaving the shelter today by the front door.
