Sarah Sumeray had been walking her dog along the streets of London last week when she spotted what she thought was a stray puppy trying to befriend passersby along the walking path. A closer look, however, is when Sumeray realized it was a baby fox, and not a puppy – all alone and likely abandoned by his mother.
Sarah looked around for the kit’s mother, but she was nowhere to be found, and as the tiny five-week-old baby cried searching for his mother and help, Sarah took him home.
Once in the door, the kit started to smelled around, and quickly found her dog’s bed in his crate and settled in for a much needed nap. Meanwhile, Sarah researched wild animal rescues and posted the adorable photo of the kit snoozing peacefully in her dog’s bed.
It was Fox Angels Foundation who answered her pleas; they promptly traveled to her home and took the adorable little guy with them.

I finished off the day collecting this little tyke tonight for the wonderful Foxangelsfoundation.
He was found alone by a nice young lady, wandering a busy road near Highgate, N6. Worried for his wellbeing she scooped him up and took him home.
I took the little one, who looked to be in perfect health to the TV stars at the great South Essex Wildlife Hospital, where he’ll grow with cubs around his own age until he’s ready to be released.
I wish him luck on his foxy journe

Fortunately this little guy will be matched with other babies his own age and be released back into the wild when he’s old enough.
Great work Sumeray. You are a hero.
