SWANZEY, N.H. – Over two dozen dogs have been rescued from conditions described as “inhumane” thanks to a year-long investigation by Monadnock Humane Society’s Humane Agent, Beth Doyle. According to the animal welfare agency, State Police were able to serve a search warrant at the home of a dog breeder. The residence was described as “deplorable.”
Officials removed 13 adult dogs and 14 puppies, seven of whom are still nursing from their malnourished mom; all of the dogs are now safely in the care of Monadnock Humane Society (MHS).

The breeder, 56-year-old Tory Frazier, has been charged with animal neglect and is expected to appear before the court in the next couple of weeks.
