At the Mobile County Animal Shelter, one-year-old Picky had recently been adopted and thought she hit the jackpot when a family came to the shelter and brought her home. Then, through no fault of her own, Picky was back at the shelter two weeks later.
According to the staff, Picky was returned because she wanted “too much love and attention” and the demand on her owners’ time was overwhelming. Now the young pup sits and waits, hoping for a better day than being stuck at a noisy and overcrowded shelter.
Picky is fully vetted and heart worm negative. She is currently up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. The shelter describes her as “dog friendly, kid friendly and heartbroken.” Won’t you give her a loving home?
Please share Picky’s plight with friends, family, approved rescue organizations and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
