Lawrenceville, Georgia – On Tuesday, an adorable dog named Blue was surrendered to the Society of Humane Friends of Georgia because his family was moving. Now Blue is bewildered and heartbroken because everything that he once knew is gone.
The animal welfare agency said:
Losing the only family you’ve ever know is hard. Blue was surrendered to us yesterday because his family is moving. He is safe and sound in one of our foster homes but he was quite attached to his mom and he’s feeling a bit sad and bewildered right now.
The shelter hopes to find a new home for Blue as soon as possible. The shelter outlined information about Blue’s personality and demeanor:
Blue is a loving, loyal guy and his look is so unique. We think he is part Blue Heeler and part Wirehaired Terrier. He is short and stocky with an athletic build. He weighs 27 lbs and he is three years old. Blue’s previous owner reported that he is both house-trained and crate-trained. He enjoys taking walks so if you’ll make sure he gets some exercise every day he doesn’t necessarily require a fenced yard. He lived with other dogs previously but he would be fine as an only dog, too.
