Heartbroken dog back at shelter after losing her person who became homeless

Admin

At the Humane Society of Broward County in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a heartbroken dog brings tears to our eyes after her person lost his home and had no where to go. To Molly, her brief home with the person of her dreams, had been perfect.

Before her person had come along, Molly had been at the shelter for months; and when they met, the two had fallen in love with each other immediately.

For a short time, Molly lived her dream:

For a brief moment she was living her best life – snuggling on the couch, playing at the dog park and never wondering if she was loved.

Well sadly her adopter lost his home and had nowhere to go. He brought Molly back to the shelter and was sobbing the entire time.

Both Molly and her person were heartbroken. Not too long ago, Molly was happy, and now her sadness was palpable –

A woman, who is a professional medium walked through our dog kennels to visit with our dogs. When she arrived at Molly’s kennel, she couldn’t move past her. She felt so much sadness coming from Molly that the woman just broke down crying.

And now everyone at the rescue organization is trying to help Molly deal with her sadness, and even more – help Molly find a new family to love her. Molly sleeps in the same bed her person had given her and along with her memories, her bed is the only remembrance of her past happy life
