A man and his girlfriend on vacation in Puerto Rico met a dog on the beach he just couldn’t resist, and this very lucky pup found her forever home because of her adorable persistence.
TikTok account @eddiednchooch215 shows us the heartwarming rescue of Cici during his first day on the beach when he met the sweetest black and white young dog just looking for some attention and love we suspect. Eddie met her on a Tuesday, fell in love and returned to the same beach on Wednesday; the stray little girl had etched a piece of Eddie’s heart immediately.

It was then that Eddie reached out to Souls of Satos, a Puerto Rico dog shelter and adoption organization, who took her to the vet. Cici received her vaccinations but was heartworm positive. Her travel papers were arranged, and by the following weekend, Cici had arrived in Philadelphia.
And as customary for a new arrival, there was even a banner and balloons saying “Welcome Home” as Cici arrived and walked out of her travel kennel.
Eddie introduced the young pup to his senior dog Chooch who is often featured on Eddie’s TikTok and Instagram pages. Fortunately, the two bonded quickly and already Cici has been adding new enthusiasm to Chooch’s life as the two hang out together enjoying each other’s company. Of course, Cici has boundless amounts of energy, and Chooch sometimes has to hang back and take a rest!
And now Cici has found her loving home, getting her needed heartworm treatment and other medications. We only wish every stray dog could be as fortunate, but one dog at a time, and every step is one step closer to a better world.
