It had been 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at the Pennsylvania SPCA as the staff had been leaving for the night when they came upon a crate outside of the Philadelphia headquarters.
Inside of the crate, which had been lined with cedar shavings, was a dog. She waited patiently in her crate, and the staff immediately brought her into the shelter. Laminated on both sides of the crate was a note:
Old School coby bloodline. Wonderful 3 year old full bloody pitbull terrier. Very people and animal friendly. 3 years old, birthday Feb 25, 2020. Love the sun and walks, looking for a loving family.

There is no doubt that the dog the rescue organization has named Daffodil, had been loved. She is a very sweet dog, although she is scared; no doubt being away from her family, left outside alone and meeting all new people must be overwhelming.
Sadly, no one knows where she came from and what made her family give her up and led them to leave their dog outside of the shelter, but Daffodil is safe, and now starts a new journey for a dog who deserves a new life.
Please share Daffodil, and if you’re interested in meeting her and making her part of your family, please contact the shelter. She needs your love.
