In the Boca Raton area of South Florida, a volunteer from Paw Patrol Animal Rescue & Sanctuary had been at the local Publix supermarket on Wednesday afternoon when she spotted a seven-week-old chihuahua puppy being given away in a basket.
The owner had been seen repeatedly hitting the puppy; the volunteer wasted no time and grabbed the puppy immediately and contacted the rescue organization for help.
Meet Tory Burch. She is a 1.5 pound pup who was then rushed to the organization’s partner veterinarian and is doing fine. At this time, Tory is not available for adoption.
For everyone who has offered to adopt Tory, please consider adopting Ramon. He has been waiting almost six weeks for a foster home, and this senior chihuahua deserves just as much love as Tory. Don’t you think?
Ramon weighs 10-pounds and was found dumped in a parking lot in Kendall. He is described as adorable, sweet, semi-blind, and is truly quite an escape artist. His perfect home would be with someone who is there most of the time. He gets attached to his caretaker very quickly and loves being a lap dog.
Donations needed for Ramon and Tory as funds are completely depleted due to all the medical expenses and dogs sitting in boarding.
(6 weeks [Ramon] in boarding already because no one has stepped up. He doesn’t deserve to sit in boarding.)
