At the Harris County Pets Resource Center in Houston, a four-year-old, very sweet dog has been passed over many times, and he has no idea why humans continue to let him down. He hasn’t done anything wrong, and he just wants to belong to someone and be loved.
Coda looks to be a variety of awesome breeds and has been described as “looking like a black and red Rottweiler / German Shorthaired Pointer.”
Today is Coda’s last day unless he is out of the shelter by 5:00 p.m. He had been on the euthanasia list last week, and it was thought he was safe with a “rescue hold,” however the foster family backed out, and the rescue was not able to complete Coda’s release since there was no place for him to go.
is he pet friendly?
…he walked by other dogs with no issues. out in the play area he got along with other dogs. if you have dogs at home, it is recommened to keep separate for a few days to allow for decompression from the shelter.

Coda has been neutered and is able to leave today! He’s described as a good dog, and just needs time to decompress as he is so scared at the shelter.
