At the rural Nueces County Shelter in South Texas, time has nearly run out for Wally. Yes, he’s a senior, a staffie mix and a bit neglected looking in his appearance, but his heart and soul want to be with someone who will love him and who will reward him with that gentle pat and a soft scratch behind his left ear.
According to shelter staff, Wally isn’t vocal or jumpy. He loves belly rubs and wags his tail to show his happiness – even if it’s only for a moment.
He’s reaching out for help. Wally has never been loved or cared for properly. Will you be his guardian angel and rescue him?
