In San Antonio, Texas, a heartbreaking story of two bonded dogs obviously abandoned by the person they had always trusted, is about to end in tragedy.
Today is Diamond’s last call despite his life long loyalty. Old, injured and defeated, the 11-year-old German shepherd had been dumped on a busy highway. When discovered, Diamond had been struck by a vehicle, and he was found with a female Malinois who had refused to leave her companion’s side.
According to Diamond’s veterinarian examination, he presented as friendly, however he suffers from a painful right hip soft-tissue edema along with other issues including dermatitis.
