At the Palm Valley Animal Society, in Edinburg, Texas, a two-year-old blind Boxer named Cookie Sauce needs help from the social media community – thousands and thousands of eyes and ears to help share this adorable little one’s story.
Recently returned into the shelter, Cookie Sauce suffers from Glaucoma and Progressive Retinal Atrophy, requiring more attention and care than the team can provide. She accidentally self-harms in the kennel, underscoring the urgent need for a home or foster placement where she can receive the dedicated care she deserves.
Despite her challenges, Cookie Sauce is a cute girl who loves people. She enjoys chasing squirrels, is potty trained, loves playing tug and wrestling, and knows certain commands like “come”. She’s a sweet girl who just needs help beyond what the shelter can provide.
Cookie Sauce needs immediate placement in foster or forever homes!
Please reach out to reputable 501c(3) rescues to consider tagging her. For adoption, fostering, or rescue information, please DM the shelter.
Can’t help directly? Your share on social media could be her lifeline. Let’s find Cookie Sauce the loving home she deserves. Please share her plight with friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
