At the Fayette County Animal Shelter in Peachtree City, Georgia, a two-year-old, 80-pound dog has completely shut down. His name is Dutton, and he’s scared to death and needs a plan to save his life from euthanasia.
A shelter volunteer has befriended him and is hoping an approved rescue organization can step up to rescue him. Dutton has not shown any aggression but will need time to regain his confidence and decompress. He was examined by a veterinarian and offered no resistance.
Can someone, anyone please help me help him? I will shut down if i lose him to euthanasia.

A patient and committed foster home could help a rescue organization sponsor him. He has a medical sponsor for whatever he needs.
Please share Dutton’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. No doubt Dutton wants to see tomorrow and not be afraid. Can you help?
We are currently full at the shelter. We have so many good dogs ready to be adopted, right now dogs are $100 unless they came already spayed/neutered then they are $40. If dogs are heartworm positive we provide the treatment. Please come by and visit our office if you are interested in adding a new furry member to your family!
