Emmet is past his deadline at the City of San Bernardino Animal Shelter. The four-year-old Rottweiler had been left behind by his owner after he had been the subject of a restraining order for violence against his girlfriend. It was the ex-girlfriend who then contacted Animal Control to remove the dog from her home; and Emmet was confiscated.
Emmet has been in isolation, and no one but the staff were able to interact with him.
A recent video posted on social media, shows a quiet and calm dog who would benefit from an experienced Rottweiler owner or trainer to help this dog transition back to being a companion and pet. He is listed as a male, black and tan, four years of age and is described as behaving better with men than with women.
