This sweet little guy is now under the care of Stray Rescue of St. Louis. On Thursday, Good Samaritans spotted the one-year-old puppy, caked in dried blood, roaming the area all by himself. He literally had been trying to scratch himself out of his own skin; yes, he was that miserable.
Fortunately, the kind people who met up with this little guy weren’t about to turn their backs and drive away. Instead, the were able to coax him into their vehicle and bring him to SRSL.
When he arrived, I was holding him. he shook his head and i could feel little blood splatters hit my face. He’s an angel.
Meet Demodexter, and today the first day of the best of his life begins.
Everyone at the rescue has already fallen in love with this little guy. How could anyone neglect this puppy and let his condition deteriorate so badly? And all Demodexter wants is to feel better and be loved.
