A shy shepherd who is just not sure what to think of his dire situation will be euthanized at the end of the day. According to the volunteers at Houston & Harris County Animal Shelters, Johnny was given more time to find a human over the weekend, however no one showed up to help him. Johnny does get along well with other dogs; he just needs patience and love. Will you help?
Our videographer interacted with Johnny on Saturday and this poor boy is so scared in this environment. No one wants him, no one cares about him and he’s all alone on top of it.
Just look at his sad face. He knows what’s coming. The next time someone comes to let him out of his kennel will be for a final walk. PLEASE can anyone help this boy? He didn’t ask for this.

Johnny must have an adoption hold or be out of the shelter by 5:00 p.m. His deadline was extended through the weekend, but no one came to save him. With just hours to go before he is euthanized, please make this young dog’s plight a priority and share his story with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts.
Johnny gets along well with his kennelmate, but he’s hoping for a home of his own where he can get lots of attention from a new mom or dad. (Kennelmate is Leif-#A611203)
