Meet Luna; she was found in this deplorable condition as a stray on Monday. Was she running away from her tormentors and the people who neglected her, or had these heartless people just dumped her on the side of a Miami, Florida street to suffer alone?
Luna is currently at Miami-Dade Animal Services. Her veterinary reports state the following:
severe crusting, scabbing, alopecia, scaling and erythema diffuse. No petechiae, ecchymoses noted. No masses noted (generalized demodex)
MDAS
Luna is being treated by the veterinary staff, however due to the extent of her medical needs, she will best benefit from rescue. If you’re willing to foster for the shelter and you live in either Broward or Dade Counties, you will need to go to the shelter in person to complete the necessary paperwork. If interested in fostering for a rescue, please contact that particular organization that is partnered with the shelter.
