Two bonded dogs slated to lose their lives today for high crimes of being scared and taking up space

Admin

At the San Bernardino County Animal Shelter in California, two beautiful, extremely bonded dogs are scheduled to die today if no one comes forward to save their lives. Tahonta and Yellow Jacket are both listed as “Code Red and Urgent” and will be euthanized for the high crimes of being scared and taking up space.

Tahonta is a four-year-old shepherd and her friend, one-year old Yellow Jacket, arrived together at the shelter on August 25. It is most likely these two dogs are mother and daughter. Shelter information states the dogs are both very timid and had to be carried out to the play yard to become accustomed to being outdoors with other dogs and to get acquainted with the trainers.

In spite of their alleged fear, it certainly didn’t take them long to get comfortable and make friends – not only with the trainers, but with the other dogs too.

“WE CAN’T LET THESE TWO LOVELY BONDED SOULS BE DESTROYED BY THE VERY FACILITY THAT’S SUPPOSED TO ENSURE THEIR SAFETY & WELFARE JUST BECAUSE THEY’RE “SCARED.” SOCIALIZING FEARFUL PETS TAKES TIME, PATIENCE & LOVE. PLEASE PLEDGE GENEROUSLY, SHARE WIDELY, OFFER TO FOSTER & ALERT RESCUES. THESE TWO PRECIOUS GIRLS WILL BLOOM IN A SAFE NURTURING ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY CAN LEARN TO TRUST AND THRIVE. WE NEED TO GET THEM OUT TODAY – OR THEY DIE.”
