At the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, California, we meet 16-year-old Tabitha. This sweet dog was abandoned and found crying in the middle of the street. When she arrived at the shelter, her fur was overrun with maggots. The shelter staff has since cleaned her up, but she is a senior and her chances of being adopted are slim.

Soooooo, let’s get some action for her on social media and help her find a soft bed, a safe home, some delicious food and a loving human for however long she still has to live. All lives matter.

I found her crying and going in circles in the road at 4:00 am outside my house. I initially thought she was hit by a car because she would not move.

She would not walk and the only way to get her in the car was to carry her with a blanket. Thank God for other people that stopped and helped and kept her safe until we got her in my car.

It looks like she just has shitty owners. She has MAGGOTS and is arthritic.

I hate asking for help. I know rescues are overwhelmed. But if there is anyone out there that does have space for this senior girl.
