About 15 miles outside of Dallas, Texas, a heartless person, possibly his owner, abandoned a very sweet dog at Bear Creek Park. A Good Samaritan found the dog, and it appeared as if the pup’s hind legs or back could be injured. It was quite apparent the dog needed medical care.
The kind person who found the dog provided him with food and water, and over the weekend posted on the Facebook page, Lancaster Texas Lost and Found Pets, hoping to either find the owner or find help.
Animal Control from Lancaster Animal Care were called, however they did not arrive to pick him up.
…a police officer happened to be out there while i was feeding him and told me that the shelter was open. we put the sweet dog in the back of my truck and the officer was supposed to follow me to the shelter.

On the way to the shelter, the officer received a call and the Good Samaritan transported the dog alone. Either way, he is now at the shelter, on stray hold and needs a foster home before he is placed on the euthanasia list.
he is very very gentle and affectionate. At some point, this boy had a loving home.

Please share this boy’s plight. He is at a high kill shelter in Lancaster, Texas and needs the help of a village to insure his safety out of the shelter. Follow here; there have been a few volunteers who have offered to foster him if an approved rescue organization steps up to take him into their care.
He is at a HIGH KILL shelter in Lancaster, Texas – about 15 minutes outside of Dallas, Texas. He needs a rescue and foster.
