Volunteers and staff from the Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter located in Hazard, Kentucky have been searching for days for what is suspected to be a dog with a bucket stuck over his head. Unfortunately, the team has had no luck finding or capturing him.

Please refrain from arguing and debating whether this animal is a coyote or a dog. That has not been definitely determined, however either way, it’s an animal in need of immediate help. If he is not captured and rescued soon, it is feared he could die.
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife have opined this is a coyote, and if and when he is caught and the bucket removed, he will be released back into the wild.
