In an urgent message to rescuers and experienced dog owners, the Miami-Dade Animal Services is asking for help rescuing a very sweet two-year-old pup named “Shorty.”
Check out his heartbreaking video. Shorty does not feel well at all and needs out of the shelter as soon as possible:

Unfortunately, the shelter is so busy with dogs coming in, the veterinarians do not have the time to begin treatment on the dogs needing medical attention immediately. Shorty is very sweet and gentle, but by the time he was examined, diagnosed with a severe respiratory infection and started on antibiotics, his condition has quickly deteriorated.
Shorty arrived at the shelter on November 13. He is an intact male, weighs 59 pounds and is extra sweet and gentle. Surely he deserves better. Please share this puppy’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Follow Shorty here.
Adoptions are made in person at the shelter located at 3599 NW 79th Avenue, Doral, Florida. 33122. Call: 305.884.1101 or email [email protected].
