In Albuquerque, New Mexico, rescuers from Albuquerque Fire and Rescue, along with Animal Welfare officers were called to help a dog who found himself in a most precarious position – his head was stuck in a steel truck wheel.
According to the organization’s social media post;
This evening Squad 2, AFR’s Heavy Rescue Company, was dispatched to help with a dog that got his head stuck in a steel truck wheel. Squad 2 and Animal Welfare Officers were able to free Nano’s head from the wheel with lots of vegetable oil and some gentle persuasio

No, we have not been told by Nano why he wound up in such a compromising position, but if he’s like other curious dogs who enjoy chasing other animals, perhaps the “squirrel” or “rabbit” won that round? We can safely say, Nano lost that race! Still all’s well that ends well.
