Admin

In Scottsville, New York, investigators from Lollypop Farm Humane Law Enforcement continue to pursue leads for three individuals involved in abandoning two dogs outside of Riverside Veterinary Hospital on the evening of November 27.

According to Lollypop Farms, three individuals were caught on Ring Doorbell camera video exiting a red SUV, crating the dogs outside and then leaving.

Fortunately, the dogs were not left exposed to the elements and wildlife for long, as clinic staff were notified via the Ring Security Camera. The two male, mixed-breed dogs are being transferred to Lollypop Farm from Wheatland Animal Control today while the investigation takes place.

Animal abandonment is illegal under Article 26 of New York’s Agriculture and Markets Law. To learn more about Lollypop Humane Law Enforcement and the animal protection laws for our area, visit: https://www.lollypop.org/humane-law-enforcement.

Hopefully, the investigation will be leading to arrests. This morning’s update:
