This is enough to break anyone’s heart: 16 year old Chihuahua at shelter

Admin

Meet Blue Gomez; this little girl arrived at the Carson Animal Care Center on December 17. She had been surrendered by her current owner who told the shelter staff, the dog was too old.

This little one needs a special person to help. Here is her heartbreaking story as per shelter notes:

#A5599081 My name is BLUE_GOMEZ and I’m an approximately 16 year old female Chihuahua. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 12/17. I will be available on 12/29. You can visit me at my temporary home at C407.

During the dog’s veterinarian evaluation, the shelter found a microchip registered to someone other than the person that dropped her off. Please share; she needs out of the shelter right away. She is frail and weak, has cataracts and serious dental issues. This little one will not do well in a noisy shelter.
