In Miami, Florida, a nine-year-old Akita and terrier mix named Uno is absolutely heartbroken, confused, trembling and crying for his family. No one knows the reason Uno was surrendered, but it’s more than obvious, Uno doesn’t know either; all he does is look around in total confusion and desperation for his family to come back and take him home.

I am a neutered male, red Terrier.
The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old.
He looks, and looks around in total confusion and desperaton. He didn’t even enjoy his walk. he is very underweight. I could feel the bones on his back.
Uno was surrendered on November 30, and is ready to be adopted from the Miami-Dade Animal Services.
This is how upset Uno has been when surrendered at the shelter. Volunteers could barely keep the tears from falling down their cheeks watching this sweet guy wondering what he had done wrong.
“Foster needed for a 9 year old Terrier mix that was left at Miami Dade. We can’t help him without an approved Foster home. Uno is described as very sweet and friendly; he gets along great with men, women, children, dogs and cats. He listens well and loves to go for walks. This sweet guy is up-to-date on their vaccines, kept mainly indoors and is reported to be fully housebroken.”
