Wilma is the five-year-old Dachshund (Chihuahua) pictured along with her best friend, a six-year-old female tabby. The two arrived at the City of San Bernardino Animal Services on December 21, 2023 after they were rescued by animal control officers from a horrible hoarding situation.
Living in the “house of horrors” were 43 dogs and 10 cats. Wilma and this sweet cat are closely bonded:
Tabby girl #A561662 and 5 year old female doggie (dachsund?) #A561637 from the same household.

Upon intake the two were placed in shelter cages next to each other. During the night, one of them was able to open the door adjoining the cages, and this is how they were found in the morning. Need we say more about finding a home for these two together?
