How in the world could anyone abandon three adorable Basset hound puppies on a busy interstate? Sadly, the three-month-old puppies were dumped at the exit of I-75 in Lexington, Kentucky. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan spotted the puppies as they started to make their way into oncoming traffic and pulled over to save them before tragedy occurred.
Meet Dolly, Loretta, and Waylon; this trio is a symphony of cuteness and are currently staying with the devoted staff of the Lexington Humane Society.
How can someone abandon three helpless puppies on a busy interstate? Why? We will never understand why these things happen, but because of our community’s support, we can and will be here for the animals in need. Dolly, Loretta, and Waylon will get the care and attention they need. They’re safe with us.
The puppies will soon be ready for adoption. If interested, please contact the staff at 859.233.9944 ext. 236 or visit the adoption center located at 1600 Old Frankfort Pike.
