What in the world is a tiny Chihuahua in terrible health doing trying to survive by scavenging off the streets in the Los Angeles County of Compton? This skinny and elderly dog bravely walked down the big street; passersby walking around and ignoring her, as if her life meant nothing.
And there she was; all skin and bones when a Good Samaritan bent down to help. She contacted Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy 29, who answered the plea for assistance. The ailing little senior was rushed to the organization’s partner veterinarian for immediate help; her new name – Thumbelina.
Check out Thumbelina’s brief video clip:
Thumbelina had been in severe pain; her jaw had likely been broken at one time, and her entire mouth has been deteriorating. It had been nearly impossible for her to even eat. She is also in kidney failure, but she still wants to live, and volunteers want her to enjoy every moment she has left.
Check out Thumbelina getting comfortable in this brief clip:
Check out the difference in just a day. Please help with veterinary expenses for Thumbelina. Life is tough enough; doesn’t this little one deserve the best 2024 has to offer now?
