A Cry for Help
Late one night, Kaitlyn, a rescuer with Adams County Pet Rescue in Othello, Washington, heard distressed cries emanating from beneath her car. Investigating the source, she discovered a frightened dog hiding in the darkness.
A Difficult Capture
The dog, terrified and elusive, proved challenging to capture. Kaitlyn’s initial attempts to approach the dog were unsuccessful, leading to a barefoot chase around her property. Recognizing the need for assistance, she quickly assembled a small team to help safely corner the frightened animal.
From Fear to Trust
The rescued dog, later named Primavera, was brought to the Adams County Pet Rescue facility. Despite her initial trauma, Primavera quickly began to trust her caregivers. She was placed in a foster home with Tammy, who showered her with love and attention.
