A Striking Resemblance

Greetje Arends-Hakvoort, a horse trainer from the Netherlands, has a remarkable trio of pets: an Appaloosa stallion named Nevada, a Shetland pony named Napoleon, and a Dalmatian dog named Jack Sparrow. What makes this group so special is their striking resemblance – all three animals boast beautiful black spots on their coats.

A Bond Beyond Species

Despite their differences in size and species, Nevada, Napoleon, and Jack Sparrow share a deep bond. They love to play together, often seen running, training, and simply enjoying each other’s company. This unusual friendship showcases the power of connection that transcends species boundaries.

A Family Affair

Greetje and her seven-year-old daughter, Jolie Lune Arends, often take the spotty trio out for walks and rides, much to the delight of onlookers. Jolie particularly enjoys riding Napoleon, her pony companion who was born around the same time she was.

A Source of Joy

The sight of the three spotted animals together never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces. Many are reminded of the classic Disney film “101 Dalmatians,” evoking fond childhood memories. The bond between the animals, built on trust and mutual affection, is a testament to the power of companionship and the joy that animals bring to our lives.
