I know I’m not beautiful but I still hope to receive wishes on my birthday today

Kwai was a peculiar dog. Unlike his littermates, who were sleek and shiny with coats of vibrant hues, Kwai was a mottled mess of browns, whites, and grays. His fur was patchy, his legs were bowed, and his teeth were crooked. His owners, though they loved him, often found themselves neglecting him in favor of his more aesthetically pleasing siblings.

Kwai had been born on a cold winter day, a tiny, shivering bundle of fur. His mother had doted on him, licking him clean and keeping him warm. But as he grew older, his unusual appearance became more apparent, and his owners began to treat him differently.

They would often criticize him, telling him he was “ugly” and “unwanted.” Kwai would try to wag his tail, hoping to win their affection, but it was to no avail. He felt lonely and isolated, his heart heavy with sadness.

Today was Kwai’s birthday. He had hoped that his family would remember the occasion, that they would celebrate his special day. But as the day wore on, he realized that they had forgotten. There were no birthday treats, no special toys, no happy songs.

Kwai curled up in his kennel, his tail tucked between his legs. He felt a wave of despair wash over him. He had hoped that his birthday would be different, that he would finally feel loved and appreciated. But it seemed that his dreams were destined to remain just that – dreams.

As the sun began to set, Kwai heard a soft voice calling his name. It was Sarah, a young girl who had always been kind to him. She had noticed that it was Kwai’s birthday and had brought him a special gift – a homemade dog biscuit.

Sarah sat down beside Kwai and gently stroked his fur. She told him how much she loved him and wished him a happy birthday. Kwai’s heart warmed as he listened to her words. He had never felt so loved or appreciated.

As Sarah left, Kwai looked up at the sky, a small smile on his face. He knew that his birthday had not been the way he had imagined it, but he was grateful for Sarah’s kindness. He realized that true love and friendship were not based on appearances, but on the heart. And he was grateful to have found someone who saw him for who he truly was.
