No doubt there are angels everywhere; it’s just that we don’t always meet them right away, and lots of times these wonderful rescue people keep a low profile and just do what’s right without any fanfare.
It was Friday morning when a Door Dash driver spotted a dog lying close to the wall and barely moving. She went over to the dog and tried to get him up, but he refused to move. Seriously concerned about the dog’s welfare, the delivery driver called Stray Rescue of St. Louis and asked if someone could meet her at the location and help the dog?
Staff from the rescue organization arrived on the scene to see concerned neighbors gathered. The Door Dash driver (a lady) had picked the dog up and carried him to the Jeep to make the short journey back to the rescue’s clinic.
Meet Rick Ross, and this is one extremely lucky dog. This big guy likely had fallen from somewhere up high and although he is quite sore, miraculously he has no broken bones. He is going to be fine.
