San Augustine County Sheriff’s Department K9 officer still missing

Admin

The San Augustine County Sheriff’s Department in East Texas continues to search for their missing K9 Officer Army, who has not been seen since Wednesday.

According to the department’s Facebook page, Army was let outdoors at his home for his bathroom time on the morning of June 19, and apparently an animal caught the dog’s attention, and he took off into a wooded area.

Army was last seen near Highway 87 around Crockett Lane.

The public is being asked for their assistance, however if anyone spots Army, do not approach. This dog has been trained to apprehend criminals. If you see him, please call the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Office at 936.275.2424.

Please help and share Army’s story so he can be found safe.
