In Polk County, Georgia, the animal shelters are full. Since February 5, Suzanne has been at the Polk County, GA Animal Adoption and Recovery Shelter. Terrified her body trembles as she tries her best to hide under her bed. Maybe no one will see her? Maybe her owner who surrendered her will have second thoughts and return? Maybe someone will love her again?
There are no mandatory holding periods for surrendered dogs.
“Dogs like Suzanne are the ones that get euthanized first sadly. She was surrendered and she’s terrified. She is beautiful but no one notices her cowering in the corner… please share so that she has a chance at life,” an animal advocate and volunteer at the Polk County, GA Animal Adoption and Recovery Shelter posted on Facebook.
Share Suzanne with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
Check out her heartbreaking video. She deserves better.
