No one knows how this beautiful German shepherd became lost on a large property in Live Oak Canyon in the Redlands of California. When a Good Samaritan reported on Tuesday he had spotted the dog who apparently was homeless, it was time to plan for his rescue.
And that’s when Dream Fetchers: Project Rescue stepped up for the challenge.
“The little boy wanted to trust so badly,” rescue volunteer Faith Easdale wrote on social media as she was joined by two helpers.
“Someone was able to leash him and Linda and Patricia got there and you can see in the video he was scared to death, but Patricia and Linda are so good and gentle. He’s now safe and already had a check up with Dr. Han.”
And here he is – so grateful for having been rescued.
“He’s a young boy who is already giving me kisses. No chip, Not fixed. He waited on that property for someone to save him…”
This beautiful dog has been named Lucky. He was rescued on St. Patrick’s Day, and no doubt he is one lucky dog.
