In La Habra, California, two dogs need help desperately. Their owner is leaving the country in a few days, and there is no one willing to care for these boys.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, animal shelters in California are not able to take owner surrenders. Staff members asked the owner to try to find suitable placement for both of the dogs – they are people and animal friendly and neutered; their lives shouldn’t end with an injection in the backroom of any shelter.
The bigger dog is described as a 11-year-old Labrador/ChowChow mix; he has some minor skin growths, but otherwise appears healthy. His canine pal, a four-year-old terrier mix has become very skittish – possibly the stress of knowing something is going to happen has him frightened.
Popular animal rescuer, Cathi Perez has personal knowledge of the situation and is trying to find suitable arrangements for these two. If you can help, please contact Cathi at [email protected] for additional information.
Share their plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Their time runs out on Tuesday; this is an emergency.
