Abandoned dog whose vocal chords cut tied to a pole and left to die

A five-year-old friendly dog named Buddy is getting another chance and not a day too soon. The abandoned dog had been tied to a pole and left to die in the San Bernardino area of California. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, someone had clipped his ears themselves and his vocal chords seemed to have been severed also.

“He was adopted from the San Bernardino shelter last year,” animal advocate Iris Marquardt Johnson posted on her Facebook page.

“Tied to a pole like trash.

Went sweetly with the animal control officer and ended up in the shelter AGAIN!!!!!

Then to save his life because no one was coming for him my friend Iris got him out before he was put to sleep

Just an example of beautiful compassion when there is so little in this world

This dog deserves the best home ever!”

Johnson and a group of women felt they had to step in and rescue Buddy from the shelter. They are now asking animal lovers to share the dog’s story to help him find a home. Buddy has been described as being friendly with other dogs and humans.

Buddy’s rescuers will provide supplies, food and medical – all that is needed is a person to love him and accept his kisses of gratitude.
