In an emergency plea for help from an Aguanga, California animal rescue group, Saving Huey Foundation, described a little puppy who had been caught in a fire reportedly intentionally set. The dog had been on a chain and had no chance of escaping; fortunately a hero came along and was able to release her.
Rescuers rushed the puppy, dubbed Flora, to California Vet Specialists where she was rushed into the emergency area as she had labored breathing. The extent of her burn injuries are not known yet, however as with previous burn cases, severe injuries often are not apparent right away.
