In the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, another almost daily emergency involves a severely neglected two-pound puppy left in a cardboard box for days who urinated on herself causing her paws to be so severely scalded she is not able to walk.
The tiny pup also suffers from mange and scabies – all the heartbreaking consequences of severe neglect and abuse. On Wednesday morning, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped up to help, and even though the odds are against this little one, she has been rushed to the organization’s veterinary hospital partner for life-saving treatment.
The puppy has been named Cathy, and it is tragic that this innocent puppy has to needlessly suffer. Look at her paws and how inflamed they are.
