Poor Wilson had been wandering around the streets of Detroit with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. The emaciated dog had been found by a local resident who contacted Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue for help.
Wilson was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital on Tuesday evening and is resting comfortably. A gunshot wound did significant damage to his shoulder and doctors have recommended his leg be amputated. Tragically, Wilson’s veterinarian suspects the dog may also be suffering from an intestinal blockage.
