It is not known who the heartless jerk is that shot an arrow through the face of a two-year-old dog running loose in Houston on Friday morning.
According to the Houston Humane Society, the pup named Evo suffered the injury after running loose and was picked up by Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce partner BARC. The pup was in severe pain after the arrow became deeply embedded into her left eye.
Veterinarians treating Evo say she is very lucky to be alive; the arrow was only inches away from hitting a vital part of her head that would have been fatal. She is currently being assessed and treated by the medical staff.
The Houston Police Department is investigating. Updates to be provided.
