Sweet shepherd has ‘tough go’ after returned to shelter leaning away from going back into kennel cage

Admin

In Chickamauga, Georgia at the Walker County Animal Shelter, a beautiful German shepherd named Semora has been having a “tough go” at the shelter through no fault of her own.

Her heartbreaking journey at the shelter began when her owner passed away, and no one in the family was willing or able to take her. It wasn’t long after that when a family adopted her, but Semora had not been given enough time to decompress and get accustomed to her new family which included another dog already in the family.

After her walk with a shelter person on Saturday, Semora didn’t want to return to her kennel. Who can blame her? And since Semora can’t talk, she expressed her heartbreaking emotions by leaning heavily on the person she had spent her time with outdoors.

If you’re in the market for a sweet German shepherd, this is your girl. She is fully vetted, and she is so ready to go home.
