In San Antonio, Texas, rescuers at the San Antonio animal shelter were left speechless and in tears after a heartless owner surrendered 15-year-old Lucky. How in the world does any dog owner not seek veterinary care for their dog in this condition? Yet here we are with a sweet, old guy who likely gave his loyalty and companionship to his family only to be pushed away like yesterday’s old couch. Now, Lucky is on death row and could be euthanized on Friday because of space shortage at the shelter.
Lucky needs help immediately; perhaps a fospice situation? No dog deserves his last days, his last weeks or months to be cut short in the back room of a county shelter with strangers. Please share. Follow his plight here.
