In San Antonio, Texas, hearts have been broken as the photo and description of a neglected senior have gone viral on social media asking animal rescuers to help rescue an eight-year-old Chinese Sharpei mix.
Minty was found as a stray; it is not known if she had been on her own scavenging the streets and alleys to survive or if she had been the victim of extreme neglect. Her medical notes have been provided by San Antonio Animal Care Services. Minty suffers from dental disease, her eyes are dull and have a crusty discharge, her left hind leg is enlarged in the stifle area, she has hair loss caused by demodex and has multiple masses.
Minty needs an approved rescue organization to help her. We know she deserves better than being at a shelter and will need confirmed adoption, foster or rescue placement by 10:00 a.m. on January 11, 2022. Please share her plight; sharing saves lives.
