In Fort Worth, Texas, Coco is devastated. How does one explain to her that her family surrendered her to the Fort Worth Animal Shelter because the human children left for college, and no one wants to take care of her anymore?
And here she is today – just six-years-old and back to the shelter she had been adopted from in 2016. At the time, the 48-pound pooch had been heartworm positive, and it is feared she still might be suffering from the same disease.
Don’t worry pretty girl. We will find you a family who won’t turn their back on you. I promise! We desperately need to get this girl out. She doesn’t like cats not sure about dogs. She likes going for walks, meeting new people and cuddling.
