Badly neglected stray is finally ready to find his forever home

Admin

A badly neglected stray dog has recuperated enough from his pitiful state of health to be adopted. The young dog, dubbed Frankie, was found by a good Samaritan in February and he was taken to the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, Ohio.

Staff at the shelter worried that young Frankie might not make it because he was so malnourished…but with the help of good care, quality food, and the support of staff and volunteers, Frankie has made a remarkable recovery. This week, the Friends of the Richland County Dogs Facebook page said, “Supporters of the shelter rallied around him by donating food and sending love and prayers for him. He has made amazing progress and we all love him dearly. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him!”
