In rural Nueces County in South Texas, a very frightened Labrador retriever mix is scheduled to be euthanized. For some very unkind reason, this healthy, young dog named “Nonsense” hasn’t had much kindness aimed her way, and she is so scared, she is reluctant to be touched. She stares out of the front of the cage; maybe she waits for that special someone she once loved?
She’s scared outta her mind/labeled ‘aggressive’ as a result. Retreats to one side of kennel won’t allow humans to get close. Hunched over & shaking.

And so it’s a room with a view from her euthanasia shelter pen for a stray that showed up at someone’s home, hung around for more than a day and then was carted off to the shelter because her owner just didn’t care.
Our hearts break as there just isn’t much hope for this poor innocent victim of someone’s neglect. Please share her heartbreaking photo with an approved rescue organization who can provide this dog with the help and a chance to live her life.
